STREAMS – Writing That Fades ("STREAMS," "the App") is published by Pressto, Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). This policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.
STREAMS is designed around impermanence. The words you write fade from the screen as you type and are not saved, stored, transmitted, or backed up — by the App, by us, or by any third party. We never see what you write. No writing data is collected, recorded, or recoverable.
The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device using standard browser storage (localStorage) to support its features. This includes your streak count, daily goal settings, badge progress, notification preferences, and subscription status. This data resides solely on your device, is not transmitted to any server, and is not accessible to us or any third party. You can clear this data at any time by deleting the App.
STREAMS offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and annual plans) that unlock premium features including additional worlds, writing prompts, breathwork exercises, and advanced statistics. All payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, process, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card number, or Apple ID credentials at any time.
Subscription pricing is displayed within the App prior to purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings app under Subscriptions. For more information, see Apple's subscription support page.
You may optionally enable daily writing reminders via push notifications. If you grant notification permission, all reminders are scheduled locally on your device using iOS's built-in notification system. We do not operate a remote push notification server, and no notification data is sent to or from our servers.
STREAMS does not require account creation, login, email address, or any form of registration. We do not collect or process any of the following: personal information or identifiers, device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV) for tracking purposes, location data, contacts or address book data, browsing or search history, usage analytics or behavioral data, cookies, IP addresses, or any form of user-generated content.
The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or data-collection services. The only third-party involvement is Apple's App Store infrastructure for subscription processing, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Because STREAMS does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers, there is minimal data exposure risk. All data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's built-in security features, including device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
STREAMS does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App does not require any personal information to use and contains no social features, user accounts, or content sharing capabilities.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
